About 7 years ago I purchased a jointer/planer, and found a need to make adjustments to dial it in to acceptable standards. That is when I purchased the following:
Starrett Model 380-72 Steel Straight Edge with Regular Finish - Not Beveled or Graduated, 72" Length, 9/32" Thickness, 3-5/32" Width, +/- .0002" per Foot Accuracy
It was used once to set up the J/P and has sat in my shop ever since. Time to let go of it.
Best street price I could find on this is around $850. I'd like to get $400 for it. Given the size, I am hoping I can find someone in the greater Hartford CT area that is interested. Shipping is possible, although I have no idea at this point what that might cost (let me know if you are interested in the shipping option).
