I have purchased a DSG-AG 125 Festool diamond cutting grinder from Europe that comes in 220 Volt 50-60Hz and has 1400watts.
Does anybody knows what it will be the best step up transformer to use ?
I intend to cut tiles and drywall with the Festool Vacum CT36 attached to this tool.
The vacuum is for 110 volt use.

I've had good luck with the products from voltageconverters.com.  I see they have a 1500W model for $75.  I've run my Jura Swiss coffeemaker on the same version for almost 5 years.

The ones that Timberwolf sells are probably the same, but you have another place to shop for it.

And in a shop or house, on can make a US-220 male to Shumko Eu female receptacle.
You might as well order a few extra Eu extension cords to use to make them up.

A nice method is to use a Nuetrik TrueOne PowerCon (female I think), and put that on both the Eu and US versions, and the male version on the tool.

The end to the tool (via an EU shumko to abide Festool's rules to avoid modification:http://www.markertek.com/product/na...con-true1-screw-terminal-ip65-cable-connector
