Strange but true!

Today was the first job that I took my new kapex to. I used that angle finder, for two close together returns  kinda like a "U" shape. It didn't work the crown was wide on both returns. Darn!!!!

So then I went to my fall back, and used my bosch miter finder. The return lengths were about 2". Anyway I got it done, and then when I went to do the next one- my bosch miter finder gave up the ghost. Darn again! it shows all 8's. couldn't shut it off, took out the batteries, but nope.

Ok so I try the kapex angle finder - again. Only this time, I read the instructions  [embarassed] it works.

note to self: read instructions.

well not so much printed instructions, but a utube video on my iphone. Soon as I saw what the guy was doing I remembered I am actually slower doing angles this way right now, but it will get faster as I get used to the kapex and the system.

It's really a shame that there isn't a 32 page full color instruction manual to help out in situations like this.........if only someone would think of this......hmmmm......?

strangely yesterday was my first day aswell taking the kapex out of the shop on a crown molding job, the angle finder allowed me to have near perfect miters each time.
