Been using this stuff for a few jobs and have been very happy with the results,  easy to use, and a decent finish achieved,

but,

cleanup,  its a pain,  the pads have to be disposed of because they don't hold up to storage when used,  the burnishing pads ( green and White) both clog, and harden after use and the applicator and metal tin are coved in the stuff.

after trolling the web and trying to find any information on how to clean this stuff up so it lasts a little longer,  has anyone had any success with cleaning up the applicator pads and other bits?

If you use Mineral Spirits on the Vlies applicator pads right when they're still wet with oil, you may extend their life a bit for some more uses. As for the Festool pads, they won't hold up more than a single use or two if you're lucky, but that's no different than using a rag to apply oil.
As for the tin and bottles, a quick wipe with the spirits or NAPTHA again would keep them decent.  [smile]
However, the bottom of the tin would be the hardest to keep clean since your applicator pad is dripping onto to it when stored in the tin. [embarassed]
