Summer in Adelaide - to go or not to go in the workshop

I would say it depends on the ice supply levels at the shop.

I'm looking at weather.com and the Adelaide temps are crazy. 73, 71, 72, 79, 95, 102, 83, 75 ... Nice weather, then bam! it sneaks a 102 in on you. Looks pretty nice most of the time though. Maybe the cool temps are only right up against the coast?
That shop must really hold the heat. The hottest temp I've ever experienced was 115F driving through the New Mexico desert with the family in a car with no air conditioning. The breeze through the open windows just felt like a blast furnace, and we had to turn on the heater to keep the car from overheating.
All of the news from Australia here has been the 117F temps in Sydney that were (are?) killing the flying fox bats.

Well that would be nice if accurate! We're shaping up for our 3rd day above 100F today 
I just heard on the radio the organisers of the Australian Open tennis in Melbourne have copped it for not stopping play yesterday when the court temps hit 150F!!! The Tour Downunder cycling race had its stages cut short today and yesterday too due to thw heat, first time that's ever happened.

Can I come and work for you seasonally?
A few decades ago I was in a position where I was responsible for the construction and remodeling of stores for a retailer. I was lucky that my boss thought about his employees and I was able to travel cross country and have the time on company expense to visit where I was born and lived until I was ten - Arizona.
I would fly out from the East Coast in the early morning and arrive at the job site before noon their time. I would spend the remainder of their day during the summer either in their construction trailer or the hot 42,000 sq ft building in a suit and tie before heading back to the airport for a red eye (overnight) flight back home. Yes I flew enough that I was always in the front of the plan and had better seats, drinks, and food, but I still feel sorry for all those who had to sit next to me and smell my adventures.
