Surfix Wait times

After use of the green pad the instructions indicate that you wait 6 to 8 hours before using the white pad. Can you wait longer as in overnight? Or must you stay in the 6 to 8 hour window.

I usually let it sit overnight.  If one had to 100% punctual with this finish it would be pretty hard to use it aside from a few times a year.  You know that thing we call "life?"  It has a tendency to get in the way of perfection
