Notice how the edges curl up on the plastic inserts from the sun.

I've never experienced that with any of mine but I am not out west like you are.  You might want to give Festool a call tomorrow.

Never will be a problem for me I live in the UK  [big grin] [big grin]
 
I have experienced another (more minor) inconvenience with the T-locs compared to the classic systainers: when they get wet, the water that accumulated on the lid won't flow out if you open the lid.
 
The black inlays are not so good, they are too thin and always break. Not surprised by the pictures above.
 
Black will absorb heat greater than any other colour but for 99.9% of the time it is probably not a problem and better than having dirty white.

A pity that it does that.
