I just donated building my daughter a desk for her room and now need to paint it white. I have some leftover KA+ and surfacer. The wood surface for the desk is Baltic birch. I suspect KA+ by itself isn't hard enough for a finish (or is it?). What topcoat can I use over it to make the finish hard enough to resist pressure marks from pens, pencils, etc? Or what is a better finish? I'd like to avoid a mat or glass surface protector.
