I made something very similar to this about 2 weeks ago, then thought of some modifications and other tools that I wanted to include so I made another one and hacked the first one up to salvage some parts.

It's a Systainer 5 with an MFT worktop lid, it has dedicated storage for 63 hand tools, including safety specs and a first aid kit, a cartridge gun with 3 tubes and a wind-up torch. Festool clamps work in the MFT top when full of tools and there's a large unoccupied space at the bottom for other items. I can stand on it if need be - it's about 16 inches tall and can easily take my weight. On a stack of Systainers it makes a handy little on-site worktable. Though the real reason for doing this is working somewhere and realising I've forgotten just one little thing...

The top is a standard SYS-MFT lid and there's 10 x 20mm holes in it.
The Festool screw clamps work fine even with all tools inside.
