Similar in concept as the SYS-Vac, create a small capacity (1 or 1.5 gal) compressor that conforms to systainer dimensions (i.e. Sys2 or Sys3). Compressor controls and hose connector positioned on the front panel and electrical outlet on the back.  Like the Sys Vac such a compressor would fit on the CT vacs and Sys Roll the making it highly portable and mobile for onsite work. Anything that can save trips to and from the van would be highly appreciate and valued.

Hi,

  Welcome to the forum!  [smile]

What you describe actually does exist but is not available in north America.

It is branded under several names .... Festool , Schneider, Senco, and couple others I think.

Here's a Schneider version & a Senco version.

And  [welcome]  to the FOG.

I'm considering doing my own systainer compressor, but want it to look "tidy".
The plastic insert for the gauges and connections on the Schneider is avaible as seperate part, G700007, around 10 Euro plus shipping.

Being part of the Festool group, Schneider uses the same ekat system, so it's possible to see what other parts they've used and how it all fits together

Great post! Never thought to look for this, this will be very helpful for anyone looking to make their own.  Many have done some wonderful jobs and adding some finishing touches like what your thinking would put them over the top.

I keep seeing pictures of these on the forum but have never seen whether or not you can purchase them. I may have missed that answer too.

So, can you purchase these compressor Systainers already made?

The Schneider one is ready made, but don't believe it's available outside Europe.

Senco sell a version with a PC1010 compressor in a systainer but without the front gauge panel.

The Senco and Festool coloured compressors with the gauge panel the same as the Schneider unit I have only seen avaiable from toolnation in the Netherlands, I suspect it might be something they have had made in small batches.

There's also the Prebenna aerotainer, not sure if it's available outside Europe either.

I'm really hoping for festool green but I'd happily settle for senco black
