We are excited to announce new additions to our SYS-FIT and SYS-PLT product lines.

SYS-FIT TRK Rack Launch

We’ve added to our SYS-FIT product line with the launch of our SYS-FIT Track Saw Guide Rail (TRK) Rack.  Track saws are amazing and a quality guide rail makes precision cuts effortless... That is until you are done with the large unwieldy piece of aluminum and you don't have a place to safely stow it. Stop trying to find a place to put down that rail, simply use our SYS-FIT TRK Rack to quickly store and redeploy your guide rail whenever and wherever you are working.

Designed to work with our SYS-PLT mounting system, the SYS-FIT TRK Rack can attach to the front of your Systainer stack, to the side of an MFT or other workbench utilizing one of our supported profiles, along with many more mounting options simply by using the available fastener locations. When used with one of our many workbench options, the guide rail nestles below the surface of the bench-top to allow quick removal and placement of new materials without worrying about your guide rail getting in the way.

The SYS-FIT TRK Rack has been tested and works with the following guide rails, with most other guide rails also being supported but are untested.
  • Festool
  • Bosch
  • Dewalt
  • Kreg ACS
  • Mafell
  • Makita
  • Milwaukee
  • Triton

The TRK Rack badge allows you to customize your color to match your track saw system, while at the same time hiding an additional mounting point if you need more support or are mounting the TRK Rack to an angled or vertical surface. Once you've mounted your TRK Rack simply snap the badge into place for that extra pop of color!

SYS-PLT - Dash-Board PWS Launch

We’ve extended our SYS-PLT offerings with the launch of our new SYS-PLT for the Dash-Board PWS Workbench. Rob [member=75093]dashboardpws[/member] was kind enough to send us a section of their extrusion so we could make sure to nail the fitment of the new SYS-PLT.  The genesis of the SYS-FIT system was to offer tool holding and organization that fits to a customer's workflow, workshop or job site.  Extending our SYS-PLT offerings to include another incredible work system, and anyone that has tried a Dash-Board product knows they are truly incredibly engineered solutions, is another step in building out our product line.

As with our other extrusion offerings, we are launching both Minimus and Maximus mount options to support the widest range of SYS-FIT racks and tool holding.

  • SYS-PLT - Dash-Board PWS Minimus Mount - Utilizes only single track in an extrusion profile track for a quick and sturdy mounting solution
  • SYS-PLT - Dash-Board PWS Maximus Mount - Utilizes both tracks in a dual extrusion profile for a robust mounting solution regardless of the task at hand

Very cool product!

Does the design of this rack stop the track from resting on the splinter guard that is near the bottom of the “u” shape of the rack? If so, what is the gap between the bottom edge of the aluminum (not the splinter guard)  and the bottom of the rack “u” ?

[member=66966]jonnyrocket[/member] Yes, the rail rests at the top of the hook to prevent a collision between the splinter guard and valley of the hook.  As you are probably getting at with your question, the clearance of the splinter guard depends on your specific track, saw and cut line. It has been tested across dozens of different tracks in house that have been run with various different saws and we have not seen any ill effects or impacts with the splinter guard during testing.  We also have over a dozen of these out in tester hands at this time in attempt to get the widest test coverage we can.

To your specific questions abou the 'gap', the distance between the valley of the hook and the edge of the actual rail varies a bit between track manufacturer, but with a Festool rail is a little under 3mm when measured in the real world (vs what is in the actual model which is 3mm).  Across our in house tracks, the splinter guard averages right at 1.5mm so its 'tight' but doesn't ever hit.

These are superbly well-made products that work well with our benches. We've tested the clamp rack, ROS mount, and hose/cord hanger. I like their fit in our tracks; it's easy to slide them when they're needed but they don't feel loose.

[member=75093]dashboardpws[/member] Thanks for the kind words here and the shout out on IG. We can't wait to get more feedback from customers on our products and can't wait to see the first real-world use of our kit with yours. Our Guide Rail Bracket Set from you guys is still going strong!  Need to order a new one to upgrade the primary workbench, so the OG can move to our mobile setup!
