Sys ports finally finished

Thanks guys for nice comments. Hopefully some answers below

[member=1619]SRSemenza[/member] the roll around unit just ended up with those boxes in as I cleared up the sys5 has my hand tool insert in and the two above was the last 2 I needed a home for. I think it will end up with the ts and trion in as these are the tools I need too move out the cutting bench which is outside. With maybe a drawer at the top for some hand tools
[member=42735]DB10[/member] if I was to do this again (after the divorce) probably would have used an LR 32 system to make it a little more adjustable
[member=167]neilc[/member] I literally only used the QSWO as I had a load of off cuts. I only needed pieces about 400mm long so I was saving them from my job site for over a year
I drove every one mad about not putting any off cuts in the bins. If had to pay for it probably would have been ply
[member=45856]blaszcsj[/member]. Yes the rear drawer extension is to take the runners as they are 400mm the sys is only 300mm but I wanted to be able to open the lid when it was fully out
Plus the runners I got were 400mm. Below are a couple of photos of my bench. Although it was covered on a separate post some ware [attachimg=1][attachimg=2]

Yes, I remember that. You seem to complete projects at about the same speed as I do! [blink]

Looking at this thread has made me realise I need to paint the shed floor again lol

Polished concrete is a nice finish [wink]

That would be nice but the floor is plywood

I have some 2 part epoxy floor paint. But the last time I tried to use this product. At my sons gym. I don't think we mixed it right as it didn't go hard we had to shut the gym for a week and then scrape it up

Think I will just get a tin of 1 part floor paint

[member=32795]VW MICK[/member] a decent thick vinyl round the workbench may save the odd chisel and it can be nicer to stand on. I have commercial carpet in the garage/workshop .. thought it was a good idea at the time, but never again!

Really beautiful work you must be very pleased with the out come. One day I hope to do something similar, one day .......

Hi guys

I've finally finished my sys ports.

Holy OCD Mick! You've taken it to a new level. Many bow downs to you.

Hate to say it, but I'm going to steal your drawer front design. I think it would look great just in a closet of built-in with pull out open shelves. How did you make the drawer fronts?  (I'm going to do up a CNC program to make them).

Heck, can you imagine that full stack filled in ancracite systainers? You could use it for modern furniture/storage and nobody would complain.

Sorry for the late reply haven't really been checking my replies much lately

I made the drawer fronts with the router and a couple of jigs [attachimg=1][attachimg=2]

It took a while (I made 38 of them)
