This is my first post here, after looking around for a while :-) Just wanted to share my go-everywhere toolbox that I recently finished, for inspiration.

It’s surprisingly spacious, and the Raaco Tool Fix is a perfect fit! The nylon strap attached with rivets keeps all my carefully selected hand tools organized and easy to grab.

Welcome to FOG!  Nice first post.  I have some Raaco screw assortment boxes but the tool organizers look interesting too!

Oh wow!  Very nice.  I love seeing how people work and organize their tools.  I need to look into the Raaco organizers too.

Nice!
Raaco makes some very nice tool boxes (I have 5..), but these inserts I haven’t seen.
I did see that Tanos habe had a collaboration with Raaco, there is an old type systainer with Raacos excellent sortiment boxes in a rack. I recognised it because I have Raacos own box with the same sortiment boxes..
I even like Wera and Knipex as well [big grin]

Awesome tip! I’ve been looking for an organizer to put in my systainer toolbox. Since I don’t have a CNC, I wasn’t going to make one anytime soon.

I also have the raaco parts organizer, so this would be a great solution for me.  I did find these tool fix boxes on amazon, but are you using the single or the double containers?
https://www.amazon.com/Raaco-4-7-inch-Tool-Double/dp/B005HVZAIO/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=Raaco+Tool+Fix&qid=1581283738&s=hi&sr=1-2

Also, does the strap come with the boxes or do you have to buy them separately? Also, what is the mechanism to keep the tools inside those boxes? Are they just friction fitted?

Thanks again for the suggestion!

Thanks, I’m happy you could use the tip! I came across it when I considered replacing my old toolbox with the Raaco Tool Taco, but I really wanted the ability to stack and roll it on top of my VAC and job-specific systainers - and then I discovered that the Tool Fixes was a perfect fit. They can be secured with Velcro, but it’s not necessary.

Yes it’s just friction fitted, with several layers of rubber/silicone inside, I’ve used them for over a year now and they’re holding things perfectly in place, while still being easy to remove (if the items are not too thick). I got three single packs, but the double pack would for sure work too, if you cut the Velcro holding them together.

The strap was just some 20mm nylon from Bauhaus, I think any will do.

The Raaco tool fix is great, I have a couple, but they are made to fit the tool wall. So they have attachment tabs at the back..

A tip though: I recently bought a Festool WCR 1000 and most of the single tool clips for this Raaco wall also fits the square holes in the WCR 1000 - except tool fix and drill bit holder.
