Sys Vac and veneer

I did a search but I could not find a conclusive answer. Can the sys vac be used with veneer bags for veneering? I realize there can be a lot of variables such as work piece size etc. but I am interested in anyone's experience with this.

I dont have the festool unit but the consensus is yes it can.  Vacuum is vacuum after all.  I havent seen anyone post #'s how much vacuum the festool unit can pull but some have claimed to have vacuum bagged with the unit.  The other down fall is the festool runs continuously.  Most vacuum pumps made for pressing will cycle on and off as needed to maintain consistent vacuum. You can also use any old air compressor to make a vacuum pump if you prefer.
