sys-vac? or Range work table

Martin USA is a distributor for those. I got a quote for that one a couple of months ago (the Vakuusyst M1), and it was for around $4K.

Ouch...

A's I said in the Sys Vac announcement thread... I was hoping for the CTL Sys to be announced for this year. I've been wanting a portable vacuum/extractor for a couple months now and the CTL Sys would be perfect.

Ouch is right. I think my best solution would be the Festool VAC SYS System SET mounted on a similar but DIY cart.

Maybe I may be misunderstanding you, however, I don't believe you can use a Festool vac as a replacement for a vacuum pump. The Festool vac needs some replacement/make-up air to maintain the correct internal temperature, otherwise the thermal overload switch kicks in. That's the reason the CT wings are always "leaking".

[member=44099]Cheese[/member] I was meaning the CTL Sys. The systainer vacuum that Festool launched last year.

Nothing about the VAC SYS has been announced yet. However, I wouldn't make any decisions in the next few weeks if I were you.

Hi, When I spoke to Greg at Rangate the XL table as shown in the video he quoted me $6750. I still have that option. Hmmm what to do. Because with a lot of door work and such this table is cool. Rolls out of the way. Plug strip too. Adjustable height. MFT tables I have are fixed height. Someone else can be using the tables and me using the cart.

1. 2- multifunction tables- $665. each                  $6750.
2. Clamping Module set -  $1800.                        $3480  difference of  $3280.
3. Extra heads- $350
                                    Total- $3480 ish
I am not getting any younger so adjustability is important to me, well that's what I told the wifey. Be well friends
