Thinking of taking the plunge and buying a sys vac using festool £50 voucher (UK) does anyone know do they come in T-Loc systainers.

Thanks

In Germany during the last months there have been a lot of Sys Vacuum Punps and Kit being sold off on ebay by the sister company omiga. They sell off the damaged or refurbished stuff in auctions.

My experience has been when there has been a lot of stuff going through them. Then there is a new design coming out soon.
Carvex 400 as an example.

I would wait. I think the T Loc is coming soon. It should, they have everything else in T-Loc now.

Interesting trying to find out more about Omega.  As Pip mentioned they are an Ebay Powerseller that was set up to sell scrap, excess goods, refurbishments, damaged, and they also seem to sell for others.

Rather than starting a new thread I'll post it here.
I recently ran into an opportunity to buy an unused vac-sys at almost 50% off, so I did.
Now I might also be in the market for a CTL vac to replace my Fein and was wondering, if I got a 2nd continuous power outlet could the vac handle both running say a router and the vaccuum pump or would it be too much? I have this weird idea in my head of  using my vac as a small mobile clamp/bench for on site use :) Not sure it would be feasible though

Hi if it was used with the 2200 no if it was the 1400 maybe if the 1010 yes would be my estimate

From what I can read out of the useless tec details in the Festool catalog CTL have 350 to 1200 w on the Power out lets and a max of 2400 w on the plug.
What are you running at 50 Hz or 60 ?
VAC  SYS is 50 hz = 160-200w 60 Hz 200-230 w.

OF 1010 = 1010 w
OF 1400 = 1400 W
I think you can work out the OF 2200 ?

So It would be pushing the limits.
