SysLite Batteries

Does anyone know how long the SysLite batteries last before they need to be replaced and what replacement batteries cost?  Are they easy to replace?

I don't have any specific information on how long the batteries will last before needing to be replaced in hours, but I also haven't read about anyone needing to replace their batteries yet. I can check with the service department to see if they have any information and report back.

It is relatively easy to replace if you don't mind having to remove some screws, although I'll admit I haven't done it myself. The parts diagram can give you a sense of how to get to it.

Ok thanks, I just wanted to make sure they were replaceable and didn't need to be sent in for service etc to be replaced. If you were able to find out info about expected life expectancy of the batteries that would be appreciated.

I'm thankful too, I bookmarked this post because I may need new batteries for my SysLite in a few years.

Guys, I don't have any specifics on battery life since it's based on a lot of factors such as storage temperature, charging habits, usage, etc. The internal battery is covered by the 3 year warranty, so you will not need to worry about it for at least that period of time. Beyond that, I checked with the service department and we've received very, very few Syslites in for warranty repair, which would be inclusive battery replacement.
