I bought a Syslite Duo and stand in the last few days for the purpose of working on a very low slope roof. Unfortunately, it is not possible to tilt the head on the stand and a lot of the light is dissipated into the atmosphere and lighting up trees. The light is certainly bright when used indoors but not very useful for my purpose. The Milwaukee LED tower light may have been a better choice because, even though less than half the lumens, the lights can be aimed. I assume the lack of a tilt feature is because of safety considerations but I hope that Festool finds a solution soon because 8,000 lumens aren't useful if you can't point them where needed.

I like the light but for the price tab it is a bit lacking on useful features. It should have an on/off switch, high/low setting, and tilting head.

I almost for got to say, welcome to the FOG Jon.

I made a base for mine from 3/8" polycarbonate threaded to accept my camera tripod, which tilts and also my builders tripod, which does not.  The on/off switch is no biggy for me.  I also have a couple of the Milwaukee lights but the Duo is definitely my go to for illumination.
