Is it possible to get a new battery pack for the syslite.  Mine has a charge memory problem.  It work fine when you put an external battery on it.  When it runs on its own battery, it only lasts about 2-3 minutes and then shuts off, not from bright to dim.

It shouldn't have a memory problem - call Festool service.

Your SysLite is still under warranty. They were introduced in 2012, so it's less than 3 years old. You can initiate a repair on our website using the link below. We will pay shipping to and from the repair center.

Shane, you've gotta LOVE being able to say that? What a great customer support tool!

Wayne,

I'm just proud to be a part of a company that doesn't look for ways to cut corners and slight the customer. There are no rules that I have to follow or allowances, for instance, when it comes to helping our customers. I can do anything I need to to make a situation right, as can other employees. That's not very common nowadays.

I'm not going to be happy with my MFT/3 until I get a free Porsche [mad] [wink]

Even when you add in the cost of round trip airfare it would still be cheaper to buy the MFT here in the States than down under. [blink] [tongue]

Well done, Brice. He needs some prodding for all those NAINA tools.  [tongue]

And here I thought he was going to be clever and post a picture of a Porsche with a MFT photoshopped leaning on it.... [wink]

Geez,  I wasn't even aware that the Syslite was a tool warranty type of product.  Better add that to my list of products to register for the All-in-One-Service things to register.

I actually just found out that only 2 two were registered under my name of the dozen or so I have and one of them is not even one I own and was added accidentally somehow likely with someone who has the same name as me.  Can't believe that the retailers I bought my tools off of never registered my tools.  [huh]
