Syslite storage

Just got a CSX and if you swap out of the charger you can store the syslite. I kind of don't like the little storage bag so this is a better solution. I have a little tripod in there as well. I just keep the charger for the syslite in the car (since I don't use the euro charger...)

Also the CXS charger fits in the Syslite bag (a little tight but it fits.)

great find, my syslite is usually all over the place. The baggy that came with it is now dedicated to holding my digital camera and it's accessories so i can carry it around safely.

Could the Syslite fit into a Sys Mini II?  There are foam insert which work out well for these types of things.
Just makes more sense to me to have a dedicated protective case for a $$$ light, rather than separating drill and batteries from the charger.

I was very critical of the Syslite, and it's packaging, etc.

Anyway - I bought one. The first Syslite has become my goto torch at home and I will buy several more.

The padded bag is ideal for car/truck, camping, evening in the garden, working indoor  & outdoor - it's utility goes way beyond the times I break out the Festools.

In the perfect world a systainer with a configuration of Syslites, additional batteries, chargers, compact tripods, etc would be great - but sometime I feel I over think the organisational benefits of systainers ... I'll end up with the appropriate size T-Loc with a simple label saying "lighting" and leave the Syslites in their padded bags inside it. On top of this I'll have the Syslite that just floats about.

Stumbled across this video today and a nice storage option using what looks like a Systainer 2 and foam inserts.  Just skip to near the end if you don't want to watch all the other stuff.

As far as the storage part goes, I like the small pouch that the Syslite comes in...it's easy to toss it in the truck and just have it...to put one syslite in a Sys 2 is overkill for me!  Just my opinion but as a field installer, space is always limited for me wether its on the jobsite or in the truck!

i have to agree . 1 sylite in a sys2 is a pure waste of space.
i would put it in a systainer along with other odd ball tools.

Doing remodeling I have two SysLites and find them very helpful. To say that one doesn't fit in systainer 2 is both right and. Now is it a good use of space... a whole different topic.  Owning two SysLites I want a systainer that will hold two syslites, all cords, and two external batteries and a charger.

A Syslite-tainer would be a great idea!  Maybe a package deal with 2 syslites, extra batteries, charger & tripods/mounting clamps.  [big grin]
