Systainer and Sandpaper

I have seen a systainer (487431) with sandpaper for the RO 150.  It had an assortment of different grits.

Anyone know where I can purchase this item?

That appears to be a current product number, so practically any Festool dealer should be able to order it for you if they don't have it in stock.

The number you gave is apparently for the empty systainer, though; the one which includes the abrasives is listed as "M0078" on the web site:

Personally, I bought the empty one (the part number you gave) and filled it with the grits of the types of abrasives I was interested in.

If the ones in the set match your needs/interests well enough, it might be a better option.  I think I got fewer grits of Rubin and more grits of Brilliant2, with smaller quantities of a few other types.

The assortments in Systainers were one-time promotional items (150mm & 125mm) a long time ago.

As has been pointed out, 487431 is the empty Systainer with the insert for 150mm disks.

Everyone is correct and they were a one time deal.  However, I did spend quite a bit of time looking around for one as well and did find a dealer that had them.  Highland Woodworking has them in stock for $215.00.  I just ordered one a week ago and have received it so I can confirm they have them.  The only bad thing is they charge for shipping, but I was able to talk to the rep and got him to ship it out for free.  Try to do the same.

I was at my local Woodcraft several weeks ago and they had 2 of the sets.  They had them discounted because of the old style paper.  I don't remember the discount.  It's the Woodcraft in Springfield, VA.

I just put in another order with Highland Hardware  this week as well. They are awesome to deal with! I also ordered the systainer sandpaper assortment for the RO150. (Festool 6" Abrasive Assortment Systainer 720785 ). It did ship. I should be getting it monday with all my other goodies!  [tongue]

Now... do I buy the Kapex?  [big grin]

I know Ed is looking for the 150mm promo pack, but I did see at my local dealer Timber Woodworking that they have 2 of the 125mm promo packs.  I considered it for a second as I use that sander a lot, but I already bought big boxes of the grits so...
