Systainer Cart Label Position

Just received the syscart I had ordered, and the fit and finish are as expected...but there's one odd thing.  The "FESTOOL Made in Germany" label is on the back of the cart.  Is this correct?  I would have expected it to be visible from the front, and in fact the product video shows it on the front.  Did I get a "defective" unit (defective obviously being way too strong a word)?  If it is indeed backward, can I easily reposition or would it ruin the sticker/adhesive?  I'd hate to have to return it for a replacement (and yes, I know I'm being anal-compulsive ).

I would suggest that you contact Festool USA and inquire about the label position.  Perhaps they can suggest a solution and maybe even supply a supplemental label to be placed at the position of your choice.

I just got one a couple weeks ago. My label was on the back too. I called Festool to see if they could send me a new sticker. I guess it isn't one they have on hand. I'm sure they had laugh after that call  [laughing]. I do really like the cart though.

This is part of their agile product development and improvement program. By putting the label on the back they've increased your level of incidental exercise (walking round the cart to admire the label, then back again).

Just in case you weren't aware, the new Domino XL has been designed specifically to save the lives of dolphins ... how it achieves this is still a closely guarded secret within Festool senior management circles.

I will say the cart itself is really nice...the casters are awesome and even a pretty tall stack of systainers can be moved effortlessly.

BTW.... is it live or is it Memorex ? (actually I preferred Maxell  [smile] )

I checked mine today.  Mine is on the front, but mine is probably 3 or 4 years old.
