I have a classic Systainer 4 with my OF 1400, and I want to upgrade to a T-lock Systainer 4. Are the bottom tool inserts and top lid info cards in the classic Systainers interchangeable with T-lock Systainers?

Thanks.

I've started doing this with some of mine. The base inserts fit quite well, but may need a slight cut in the middle of the front to allow for the reinforcement of the base in the t-loc. I didn't cut mine and its alright.
The card insert probably could be adapted to fit but mine are too old to bother about, so I threw mine away.

Hi ,

  Welcome to the forum!  [smile]

I can confirm what Woodchippie said. For the 1400 just a little trimming of the insert flange at the front.

I had to do this with my OF2000 insert, since there was never a T-LOC version made.

I used a drill bit to bore a hole, then used trauma shears to cut the sides in to meet the hole. Rather than cut a notch, I drilled a hole with rounded edges to provide stress relief to prevent future cracking since there aren't any corners for stress cracks to start in.

I posted about what I did (with pictures) here:

Also .i do think you can reprint the lid info sheet .but not sure where I've seen it
Someone else maybe able to help
