Ok, I quickly pulled the tape out to full extension (10').  Here are the photos to support the findings.

Good.  I thought about it right after I put away the tape and camera that someone might dispute the photos and say that I "fudged" the shot.  Trust me, I didn't.  Even though the photos don't show the full extension.

It appears that some dealers have not placed orders for these items despite communications through our usual channels about their availability.  You may have to contact your local dealer and request these items if they don't have them in stock.  Sorry for the inconvenience if your dealer does not have any in stock.

I just noticed printed on the tape body a picture that seemed to show a pivot point extending from the rear of the body.

Could this tape be a Tallmeter product?  I don't know, I don't have either in front of me.

I don't think so. The Festool tape looks like a BMI 405 Viso.
