As I ve been working this remodel in a tight space Ive been haveing to set up and break down my MFT3 multiple times. I would like to have a systainer set up to hold the various parts of the MFT3. So I can keep them organized. Connectors, clamps, essentials, and other things such as the guide rail brackets hose/cord  guide  stops  etc….

I just might buy a empty systainer and make one of my own.

also some type of portable storage for the paralell guides.

i put everything in a sys 2  but i recommend a sys 3..wich i alread yordered cause it always  takes me time to fit it in

that's what I was going to say, just put it all in your own empty systainer,  or buy a cheap canvas tool bag and keep them in there.  I don't mind getting systainers with the tools I purchase from festool but the empty systainer prices are ridiculous.

I"m with you on a dedicated systainer. I bought empties to keep it all together. Why the tables are not treated as the other tools ticks me off.... I work on location and want the system to be a complete system!

Cheers,
Steve

Hi,

I do not have Systainer set up with dividers and such for MFT parts but I do just place them into an empty. With very careful arranging they will fit (barring added clamps and acc.) in a Sys - I, but a Sys- II is easier. I have toyed with making a a set up with specific locations for everything but it is not at the top of my list. Probably will at some point though.
