This weekend I was hoping to get some time for myself.  One of the projects that I'd like to work on is a T-Loc to Classic Adaptor.

Any suggestion?  [embarassed]

Requirements -

As low profile as possible.  This would mean no T-Loc style front handle?                  [scratch chin]

In-line with a  stack?  No overhang.  So it will be loadable in a Cart or Roll without getting hung up.

Ideally I would get this put on a CNC machine and make out of MDF?

Thanks, Sam                                                                                                      [not worthy]

how about if you cut a layer of ply to the shape for the systainer. then attach 2 braqckets to the underside that lock into the ply into the grove  that the t locks  lock into .
then put a pin at the front for the t lock latch to conect to.
attach the rubber  classic  systainers to  the older roller board

I did make some MDF prototypes and they are too heavy.  [embarassed]

Baltic birch with metal clips for the back groove of the T-Loc  is where I'm at.  Had to drop the project.  No time or scrap material now.  No good method to attach classic/sortainer to adaptor plate other than the green rubber locking straps that go to a systainer cart.

I will be building a plywood storage unit to replace the back seat in a ext. cab work truck in November.  May have fall off material to try again then.  [unsure]

That's a shame.
I have a plumbing box which consists of a sortainer 4 with a t-loc 1 on top. I have an electrical box which consists of the same. They work great, but because the sortainer is on the bottom, I can't attach those boxes to any stacks with a t-loc on top.

Has anyone come up with an adapter going from the classic bottom to the t-loc top?

Seems like you would have to an adapter plate in between with classic catches and a receiver for the tloc with a groove of sorts to lock into the recess in the top of the tloc. Food for thought methinks.
