Systainer with Saw blades insert

I would love to see a systainer 4 with a insert for TS75 Blades. Ideally something with a ejection/release button like the old CD magazines with a label for each Saw blade application. Make a combo pack with blades included and I would definitely buy it.

You could just get a block of wood or plastic, and plunge cut each blade into it. You would have a perfectly precise kerf for each blade and you only need cut as many slots as you have blades.

I haven't actually done this myself because I only have one blade!

Another option for blade storage is using the large drawer of a Sortainer 4.  Both the TS55 and TS75 blades will fit.

I don't have a TS75 but I use the old carriage bolt washer and wing-nut for my blades.

I know several blades nestle into the bottom of the tray for the TS55 Systainer insert.  Up to five I think, if you don't have connector bars there, and if you don't mind them touching.  Probably four if you separate each with some shielding (e.g. milk jug plastic/coffee can lid).

For those who have TS75s, is there a blade "compartment" in the tray insert?

I've got 2 blades in my systainer for the ts75, one on each side of the insert that holds the saw, there are cutouts in it. [smile]

I think I brought this up on the main board when there was a discussion about the new long bags, and how to make a better one.
Basically, the idea was to make a blade bag that would hold everything, and still tuck into the systainer with the saw. Everything you need would be in there, but it wouldn't get banged around in transit.
