hi guys

ive just got a tradesman cleaning set in a sys 4 t-loc it is 420mm high.

i put my ts55 insert in and the ts seams to be alot lower in the sys than the classics, anyone know what hight a classic 4 is? im thinking this sys4 is a sys 5 unless festool changed all the hights in the new t-loc system...?

According to Tanos website (makers of systainer), the old and new are the exact same height. 315 for a SYS 4, 420 for a SYS 5 which is what you seem to have. The T-Loc are actually a little bit taller because of the tiny "feet", but the actual dimensions of the box are identical between old version and T-Loc.

I switched my cleaning set to the classic sys 5 after I got it.  Much easier to put everything in and take stuff out plus no big bulge in the front from the hose.

Ok Tom, I see. Strange that they post the wrong size systainer in all the pictures on the websites then.

If I remember correctly, they used to all come in 4's. That extra 105mm makes a difference. They can still seem a bit tight.

Correct.  They finally learned to do it properly instead of the sardine method.

I like two-layer brisling sardines. I also like kipper snacks and smoked oysters.

I'm not too fond of wrestling the old "anaconda" as was discussed earlier. I think that was Nick or Mr. Junkie...
