With the current pandemic cutting my jobsite days down to 3/week I've been using a lot more of my tools around the house. The Midi shines as a household vacuum (hardwood floors & tile) and I use it every couple days to keep the cheerios off the floor. One thing that would be great for my 6 month old is a t-loc baby seat. The view and the rolling will keep her entertained as I clean. Get on that on Festool! I staged a prototype but I don't want any internet safety police coming after me, so Ill keep the picture to myself.

Funny story: sometimes I let my 2 & 4 year olds do some vacuuming. They are thoroughly entertained while provided a D level cleaning service to me. But a tip for anyone else considering. Don't do this while also potty training said 2 year old. I walked in the living room to find him graciously cleaning up his most recent puddle. Lesson learned.

Hope everyone who is getting unexpected family time is soaking it all in, I am finding it has been a great excuse to slow down.

I find your use of the phrase “soaking it all in” particularly funny in light of the funny story in the paragraph directly above. I’m assuming that “pun intended” applies.

Anyway, funny story, enjoy life at the slightly slower pace. They grow up really fast!

Hahaha  [big grin]

There’s a “ride on” in everything available for kids, why not a vacuum - Festools sys system makes a great base for that [big grin]

I’ve been where you are, cheerios and everything, they don’t stop messing though and vacuuming becomes “WHAT [eek]?” As Alanbach says, they grow up fast, so enjoy!

That proud, concentrated happy face when he cleaned up his puddle.. [big grin]
Thanks for sharing!
