T-loc sustainers good deal for those in the UK

I talk to these guys at Toolfaire , great guys give some great deals at the show.

Though I havent needed to complain about anything yet the way they are I can't imagine anything but Good customer service from them.

As stated, those prices are minus 20% VAT and postage which is another £ 4.85 shipping so a sys 5 TL is just under £60 ($88.50 US) whereas a Sys 5 TL on ebay is only £48.76 ($71.90 US) including VAT and delivery which is a much better deal, and is a genuine Festool one.

I'm looking to buy some foam inserts, has anybody already done some research on the best foam/suppliers in the UK. Thanks.

Until now FFX used to be the cheapest for systainers.
As for foam - kaizen foam is often used.

Never actually bought from Vantainer but from speaking to them at Toolfair I got the impression that there may be discounts available on the website prices if you give them a call.

The vantainer prices for foam appears cheaper than toolovation

They do appear to be, until you add the  VAT to the prices at vantainer.  [wink]

I was looking at it wrong Carl. Apologies. The vantainer 20mm kaizen for a sys base is £5.81 plus VAT and at Toolovation £5.50 plus VAT. If Vantainer do offer  around 20% discount it would then be cheaper.

No apologies needed Rich.  I know sites like vantainer list the prices of items without VAT due to business buyers etc. But not everyone can claim the VAT back.  So a simple site upgrade listing with/without VAT prices would be easier to compare to other sites.

hey guys, I've got about 10 systainers I'd like to fit with foam, does anybody have any experience buying a large sheet and cutting it up, im not sure what foam would be appropriate.

Thanks.

Try looking for ethafoam., same as kaizen foam but a lot cheaper. Comes in various thickness so easy to build up layers.cuts dead easy .
