t12+3 fitting chucks into t-loc

i have bought the sys-T+3 t-loc systainer to hold my t12+3 which originally came in a classic systainer,the t-loc comes complete with an insert,i'm trying to figure out where to put the following four chucks:BF-FX13(conventional chuck),DD-DC(depth stop chuck),DD-AS(right angle chuck) and DD-ES(eccentric chuck),the only way i can get all four to fit is by attaching the right angle chuck to the drill(photo below),is this the correct way to house the drill and all four chucks?would someone who has a set that originally came in a t-loc post a photo of the correct setup please(i imagine the t15 setup would be similar)

hi john,on the right angle chuck you mean?,actually this is the only offset that will work,the drill is not sticking up although the photo may give that impression,i just wonder is there ment to be a dedicated space for it that i have overlooked ???

no that wont work,the right angle chuck wont fit in the depth stop slot

Just based on the picture..... can you remove the RA , leave it in the same orientation and just move it to the left?

yes seth i can do that but it would be just loose having nowhere to slot in and would be free to rattle around,its a puzzle,surely the RA has a dedicated place?

I leave the RA chuck where the depth stop is, put the depth stop top left near the end of the drill (swap them around). The bit I struggle with is the charger plug (3 pin type).

Tools that come in a t-loc have a picture in the lid that shows what goes where, so I googled a picture of the open lid:

It's like tdfiver said, RA in the spot of the depthstop chuck. The depthstop chuck isn't part of the set, so it might not have a dedicated spot in the inlay.

I have the same setup but no depth chuck.

Could you use a heat gun and heat the nub that sticks up in the upper left corner and flatten that area (wearing gloves) to let the chuck sit more to the left?  That might let you put the right angle chuck with the angle down and mold the plastic to keep it from shifting.

Short of that, it's leaving one of those two long chucks on the drill unless you are ok with it shifting.

If it doesn't work, you can replace that plastic tray for around 16.00.

Not ideal but maybe an alternative.

many thanks for all your replies,i see now that the RA will fit where i had the depth stop but i just tried it and it is a loose /sloppy fit wereas the depthstop fits in there quite snuggly with little play,the raised nub on the extreme top left is a mystery,it looks as if it is shaped for some function but i can't find out what,i think i will probally stick with the setup in the photo as it seems the insert isn't designed to hold all four chucks(another oversight i think).

Maybe just to support a bit left in the chuck?
