Hey everyone,
I purchased a T15 and TI15 in the recon sale, the 4.2 variant.  I'm also looking to purchase a Carvex and have decided to go with the cordless version. My question is, can I buy the bare tool Carvex PSC and use the 4.2 batteries from my drills in it? I have 4 batteries now and it'd be a shame if they can only be used in the drills.  Is there a difference in the batteries that come with the Carvex versus what I have with my drills?  Any help offered is much appreciated.

Apologies if this has already been answered but I did a search and came up with nothing (or I just suck at searching this forum).

One thing you will find is that Festool makes the batteries physically compatible if they are OK to use in a different tool or voltage.  EX-  I have some 12v LiOn that fit my 15v LiOn tool.  But the 15v battery will not fit the 12v tool. Same for the NiCd batteries fitting the LiOn drill. But the other way around will not attach.  Rules out the improper use.  Course that doesn't help until you actually have the tools and batteries but it is a convenient prevention to know about.
