Well based on the replies I got from you folks, the 20% off, and the impending price hike I bought a T15 set. [big grin]
Opening up the Sys2 I was more exited than I can ever remember for any present at any age, and I knew this was coming.
The drill is just plain nice to look at.  The drill is shockingly lighter than it looks, well balanced ect.
I took it out just made myself comfortable with it and figuring out settings, different chucks ( my first Festool drill).

Then went to the garage found two 2x4's and screwed them together. Grabbed a Spax 4" lag bolt and went to town.
I screwed the Spax in and then reversed it right back out, moved over 1/4" and repeat.
The T15 did this 82 times before the drill beeped, let it cool down for 5 minutes and did 11 more. For a total of 93.
Took a freshly charged Bosch 18v Nicad and did the exact same, 34 was the total it could do before it  stopped.
I was not shocked but that is a huge difference.  I cannot wait to put this thing to the test.

*edit- I did not charge the T15 before I did this, I don't know if they come fully charged from Festool or not.

I have a 5pc Bosch 18v Nicad kit and the Bosch 2pc Litheon kit and I think they are both on the way out the door, maybe I'll wait for the CXS and T18.

Lastly, do the C12 batteries and the T series batteries interchange?

Good question, I'd like to know the answer too.  I believe the new lithium C series batteries do so I'd guess the old will.

The T-series and C-series Lithium Ion batteries are interchangeable. You can also use the NiCd and NiMH batteries with these drills. The only caveat is you need to use a battery with equal to or less voltage than the drill model you have. So, you can use a 12v battery with a T15, for instance. But you can not use a 15v battery with a T12.

Nice post, really shows the advantages of brushless motors, which have more power and are more efficent.
