T15 & TI15 Hybrid

My Panasonics are getting tired so I am considering Festool.  My question is will the TI15 Basic work with the new T15+3 batteries?  Just looking at all my options at this point.  I already have the CXS and really like it.  Thanks!

kind of wish i could use my t18 batteries with the ti15..surely them clever festool engineers could have figured out how to get a small transformer in there to drop the voltage of the 18v batteries to be used in the 15.

i would pay the $350 for the bare tool if it would work...

I originally bought the CXS before my DeWalt 14v died but, recently added the T-18 and it is a very great drill kit.
