Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I could purchase a reasonable, light duty steel table for my planner.

I use these folding workbenches for everything from saw horses to CMS stand to portable benches to whatever.  you can find them at places like Odd Lots, True Value and on the web for prices that range from $11 (What I paid) to $25.  I bought 4 of them from Ocean State Job lot a few years ago at $11 each.  My local true Value routinely has them for $20.

Here's the Amazon Link

If you find them cheap like I did pick up a few, I still have one unopened I think.

In this pic you can see one on the right that I mounted a tabletop on and use it as a working bench for turning stuff, and one laying against a lumber rack waiting for it's next use.

Good Idea Bill, I actually have an old B&D collapsing bench that will work great!
Thanks,
