Hey guys! a little post from me again, a table i newly finished and delivered as a surprise to my brother.
The table is inspired by the looks of a asian/chinese stool (no not the poo poo kind)
The tabletop is made out of beech wood, and the legs are white oak. The boards i used for the tabletop were unusualy wide, 32-34 cm (my boards are normaly maby 20cm wide), and were 4 m long
The table itself is 190x90x52 cm, and the main design/touch is the illusory thickness i tried to implement. The tabletop is realy only 2,5cm thick, but i glued a "frame" underneath, 10cm thick and 6 cm deep/wide and then curved it like a champ. Phew...a real workout with a good number of tools.
