Got a table to renovate.
At first I thought I could still save the table. But the inner panel was so firmly cemented that I could not get it out. What to do?
I went to my timber merchant and bought there cherry. Blank Fringes, so raw disks from the trunk. Next door placed on the thicknesser to 25 mm thickness by a carpenter ...
At home I have on the new TS 55, the wood billets sawn to produce the adhesive surface.
With the TS 55 trimmed and with the DF 500 dowelled.
The parts glued together and let it dry overnight
The outer edge of the KS 120 precisely mitred, dowelled and tentatively put together.
Then sanded with 220 and then matted.
The Bales-Matting is not bad. However, it is cumbersome to apply the matting. It takes a long time to succeed. I also had places that simply did not want to accept the matting. Here only patience brings success. Always and rub repeatedly over the same spot. Then suddenly it goes.
Would indeed prefer "Bootslack" applied with a spray gun. Equipment I have, but no dust-free room. It is also good for the muscles of the arm
The table is ready!
Once sanded with 320 and then the bale matting on it.
The application of the bale matting is very difficult and takes a long time.
But in the end it is always worthwhile.
