I finally got my order in on a SawStop 3Hp PCS 36"  Table Saw
found a place that has free shipping & lift gate delivery  with no sales taxes , ( they are much like Festool there are no sales/deals on the things)
( they do have a free table top Dust control OR a cheap mobile device special right now )
Now the Guy @ SawStop service dept. told me  the stock blade is a one off blade that is useless to be resharpened ,
he said it's a $30.oo blade & the carbide tips are tiny , too small to resharpen
they sell a TI blade for $80.oo ish
I'd like to get an assortment one each fine cut , rip blade & combo any suggestions ? Dado as well / Maybe later a plastic/laminate blade
I really want  good blades but not over spend on then at the same time
I seen one @ Carbide Processors that is called a World’s Best™ saw blades are manufactured with a special Cermet II tip anyone use these ?

I use Forrest blades and like them a lot, they stay sharp a long time and their sharpening service is pretty good.

I use the ww2 for a combo blade and i have a ply blade, fast rip and dado sets also.

They are pricey but worth the money.

I use Amana, AGE, and Freud industrial blades, not cheap but last forever.  If you spend some time web surfing you can find good deals on the good stuff.

Another vote for Forrest. I have them on my table saw, miter saw (old Makita) and RAS.

I use Leuco, Tenyru, and Forrest.  All are fine quality and perform well.

Tenryu Gold Medal is a great blade. I've got Ridge Carbide, Tenryu, Forrest and Freud - my favorite is the Tenryu.

I've been using Forrest Blades for over 30 years and I never had a complaint with them, they stay sharp and cut very well for a long time.  Congratulations on your new table saw, I'm sure you'll love it!

ThanX Jack , I plan on table top in Panama Rosewood inspired by yours  [cool]

Forrest Woodworker II is a great all around blade.  I also use a Freud Glue line for ripping.

I used Titebond III glue for the edge joints and it worked very well.  I cleaned the edge joints with acetone before applying the glue.  I'd love to see your table when your finished.

I use only Forrest blades with my Sawstop Professional. I have a couple of Forrest blades that have been sharpened by Forrest several times. The are like new. My favorite Forrest blade is their combo blade. I've got the specialized ripping and fine toothed cross cut blades, but seldom use them.

Be advised, not all dado sets work with the Sawstop and you need the specialized dado Sawstop cartridge. The cartridge that comes with the saw does not work with dado sets. The Forrest dado set does work with the Sawstop.

The dust collection arm and blade guard is very effective. It is a great  enhancement.

I have the hydraulic base on my saw. It makes it very easy to move the saw.

If I had to choose between the mobile base and the over arm dust collector and blade guard, I'd go with the latter.

You need a 5 cent coin to set the blade to brake clearance. That is the cheapest woodworking accessory I have.

+1 Forrest Woodworker II (30 + years), and Freud glueline. I have a Tenyru I tried for a while but it is now just a spare behind the WW II spare I have.

Thanx on the advice about the Dado  set
I didn't know it had to SawStop approved but I did know you you need the dado brake assy .

FS Tool LO3250 or SO3250.  Best general purpose blades I have used including the WWII.

Slappy,

If your going to cut good quality plywood then get the Forrest DURALINE HI-A/T blade the best plywood blade I ever cut with. I also have the Forrest Dado King set and it is a great performing set of blades.

Jacko,

I had the opportunity on a large project recently to do a head to head comparison between the Duraline and a FS Tool SM 6251.  Both made very clean cuts but the 6251 held its edge much longer while cutting the same materials and thee same volume.  If you ever need to replace the Duraline give the FS Tool blade a look.  Its less expensive as well at $122 at Carbide.com vs $160 for the Forrest.

Thanks justing I'll consider the FS Tool SM when I need a replacement.

I really like the Freud Fusion blades.  The cut incredibly smoothly and the edges require only a minimum amount of sanding.
