I know there have been many inquiries about getting the Systainer with the attic lid over the years. For a short while, we were able to sell the Festool version until it was discontinued. We now have the Tanos SYS II with attic lid in stock, ready to ship.

On the inside, is the attic compartment flush with the bottom edge of the lid?  Thinking this could turn into a nice router bit and accessory box.

[member=63201]RustE[/member], it's about 3/16" shy of being flush. So, shorter in depth than the lid's depth. Compartment on the lid is about 7/8" deep and each of the three sections is approximately 3-1/2" x 6". Photos below.

I have at least three of the attic lids that I bought from Lee Valley years ago, before Toolnut carried them.  I transferred the lids from the original syst to fit my needs.  I have one on the Syst IV that holds my Senco 1010, has air accessories in it.  Another I out one my Fein Syst to hold my blades.  An another on the Syst drawer II that holds my Milwaukee Surge and grinder.  This one holds my various counter sinks, nut drivers and extended bit holders.  The drawer holds my drill bits and accessories.

The template (guide bushing plate) for the OF1010 measures approximately 2-29/32 inches in diameter.  I could put a few templates in the lid with other spare parts and maybe arrange the edge guide along with some bits in the bottom.
