We're happy to announce that we are now offering Tanos Systainer and accessories again on our website. Tanos is the sister company of Festool and the developer of the Systainer system. Festool and Tanos Systainers are fully interchangeable and compatible.

You can now save up to 10% off of the equivalent Festool price for these Systainers. Additionally, there are accessories that are available from Tanos that are not offered by Festool. We are also offering T-LOC knobs in all of the various colors to help you color-code your Systainer stack.

TANOS Systainers - Up to 10% OFF!

Is it possible to order a systainer with a red latch or do I have to order a systainer + a red latch.

Also how long will this sale be going on, I need a 4 or a 5 but won't be sure until I have everything mocked out. Seeing if I need to get it done sooner than later, lol

[member=8208]zapdafish[/member], as you know there are virtually endless combinations of colors available with Systainers. To keep it simple, we have opted to just offer the colored knobs separately for now. This will hopefully give folks a way to customize or color code their Systainers easily.

Regarding pricing, we'll be offering these introductory prices at least for the first couple of months.

Thanks for the questions.

Shane

Are you going to offer the anthracite colored systainers? I believe it's considered a basic color along with the light gray.

[member=43749]Bash[/member], potentially in the future, but for now we're just offering the light gray. Some may recall that Tool Nut sold Tanos before and offered all of the various colors. It becomes difficult to gauge demand for various color combinations and we end up stocking colors that just don't sell. So, we're taking a more measured approach for now and keeping it simple.

Attic lids?

[member=68752]Farming_Sawyer[/member], I didn't see attic lids in their portfolio. Just like Festool, there are items that are not offered in the U.S. that are available in Europe and elsewhere.

I think folks would be fine with buying handles separately if they were not 12 bucks.  That's the part that is hard to swallow.  if they were 1.99  then I don't think people would care much.  It's just hard to understand the price.  And I think we know it's not you guys, everyone sells them for 12 bucks.

Shane,

Is the "light gray" color in TANOS that you are offering now the same color as the Festool gray color?
