Since I started using the Tanos Tool box I have been missing the holes in the edges of a more standard tool tote that I had been using. Thses are intended for screwdrivers and similar tools.
I decided to add some to the Tanos. I also found that narrow shafted drivers can be slipped into the corners holes. I thought about drilling the corner holes larger, but decide that a slip or run away hole might split the corner. So I drilled some holes in the top edge of the ends.
This worked fine except the drivers wobbled way too much which was really irratating when carrying and could easily fall out during transport. I glued tubes made from 1/2" PEX to the ends to stop the tipping. One tube is capped so that it can be used for a pencil the others are left open for longer shaft drivers. I made a couple of the holes oval for wide slotted drivers or tack pullers etc.
Also , be careful of the placement of the holes and tube in relation to the side Systainer latches.
