Welcome Sean,

I haven't bought anything from TCH, but I've been fascinated with the hard-to-find products you offer.  Other FOG members have recommended your company.

As a vendor, you need to be in the Sales Zone and get your green "name tag".  Matthew will probably notice your post and be in touch with you.

Ned

Hey Ned,

Thanks a lot for your quick response. I have found that we carry a lot of the "out of the box" items most companies in this area do not. One thing that we always try and say is that "even if you don't find it on the website, it doesn't mean we don't have it".

We do a lot of custom design products for companies and sectors across the board.

I am completely open to any questions or concerns regarding TCH and our products.

Is there a specific section in the "Sales Zone" I should be or just create a new post?

Thanks Ned.

From what I've seen "this area" is the planet Earth.  8)

Matthew's the admin and will guide you on how and where.

Ned,
Welcome to the forum.  It looks like you have found the Sales Zone!  I'm going to merge this discussion with your first post in the Sales Zone.

Just to make sure I register you correctly, are you a Festool Dealer?  Or are you a "related retailer" -- someone who does not sell Festool products specifically, but products that are somehow complimentary to Festool tools.

Hope that makes sense!

Matthew

Matthew,

Thank you for your introduction. We would be a "related Retailer" but where could I find your products/services? From the topics I have reviewed TCH Sales seems like it would be very useful to your members.

If there is anything else you think I should be doing to help your members find us please feel free to let me know.

Take Care,

Matthew--

Actually, Sean's the new guy, not me.  :)

Their products have no direct connection to Festool, other than at the cutting edge of blade or bit.

IMO, it's more that TCH offers hard-to-find stuff that helps you get it right for certain kinds of projects, and getting it right is a strong interest around here.

Well, welcome to Sean.  And I never actually welcomed you, Ned, so why not do it now!
Sean, I have designated you as a "Related Retailer."
Matthew

Matthew & Ned,

I would like to thank both of you for your quick and helpful suggestions.

What does a "Related Retailer" entail?

---

Matthew,

Is there any products from TCH that could be of any use to you for FOG?

I can't tell you how easy it is to navigate through your forum. I have been sending your link to my contacts.

Thanks,

Sean.

Sean--

A big selling point of Festool is their Systainer modular storage units.  Many of us need such storage, either because we are on the road or don't have much space in the shop.  Or we just plain like that kind of thing.

There's been talk here about modding Systainers for everything from beer storage to pet kennels to job site radios to storage of non-Festool tools.  People have built compressors and vacuum pumps into them.  Your hardware is clearly useful for those projects.

A number of us are in the kind of businesses that TCH markets to.  Some of the rest of us get excited by the possibilities.

If you're not familiar with Systainers, check out their manufacturer at Tanos website or a full-line retailer (with English website) at Kofferfunshop.

Hey, Tanos needs a North American distributor.  How about it, Sean?

That's a category of retailer who does not sell Festool tools, but does sell products that are interesting and useful to Festool tool owners.  Kind of like the applications Ned was describing above.  Maybe you sell items that Festool tools owners could use in their Festool systems?

That's a really interesting question.  Thank you for asking.  We're a creative group of people here.  I'll let members jump in and look at your site, and see what they say.  In the meantime, let me familiarize myself more with your products.

I'm glad to hear it!  The design of this site is a work in progress, the result of ongoing involvement of everyone in this community.  It's always good to hear feedback from new members, who can bring a fresh perspective.

Matthew

Ned,

Is there a contact person you would recommend I contact from Tanos? I have just finished looking over the Kofferfunshop website and we would have many solutions for those types of products as well as the cases, boxes, etc. Our largest market is "Case Hardware" and also including custom foam and laminate designs for multiple case solutions.

If you have anyother customers or businesses you think would fit well with TCH please feel free to have them contact me or I could contact them.

Thanks again,

Sean.

Matthew,

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding TCH products/services. We are always interested in customer questions or suggestions.

I have been a website designer for some time now working on forums, blogs, wiki's and this is by far one of the easiest to nav through I think you have a done a great job on making it easy for beginners to find what they are looking for as quickly as possible.

Thanks Matthew,

Sean

Sorry, I don't have a contact for you.

Festool and Tanos are "sister companies".  I don't know how close a relationship that implies, so this may not be a useful tip:  contact Christian Oltzscher, CEO of Festool USA.  He might be able to help.  I see that his email is hidden in his profile forum.  I will send it to you in a PM.

Ned

Ned,

Thank you very much you have been a lot of help to me. I will contact him shortly about what TCH Sales IncTCH has to offer Festool.

If you have any questions let me know I would be happy to answer them for you.

Take Care,

Sean.

I could of used this site when I built these for a friend. I don't know if you have it, but I was needing 6" ports that was 12" 3/4 deep. I couldn't find any, and ended up using schedule 80 pipe.

Rob have you been to this site? People post their own homemade speaker designs here:

Yeah Nick, that is where I got everything that is on it. They had a six inch port, but it was only six inches deep. It took me awhile to design it, I had never done it before. He just told me the airspace he wanted.

I never made speakers either any pointers on other sources or what tools I would need that I may not have.
