My TDK12 has had a chuck problem for the last month or so. I discovered this while renovating a boat trailer. When drilling through metal when the bit breaks through the bit catches on the chip and spins in the chuck, usually galling the drill shank. Unfortunately the warranty expired in August. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it cheaper to send the chuck back to Festool for repair or just "chuck it" and spend $45 USD for a new one?
