Teflon coated vs baked on enamel pressure pots

I've read a few users needing a new pressure pot because of rust so were they non-coated pots, Teflon coated or baked on enamel?  Most vendors selling PP warn that even a Teflon coated pot can rust unless allowed to air dry completely.

I'm wondering if a baked on enamel coating would be a better choice?

In your PM, you said no rust on your Qualspray from Homestead Finishing Products(their own brand, no stainless steel listed), is your PP stainless or maybe you got a different brand from Jeff as he does sell C.A. Tech as well?  A relative will get my bucket rust free because I will have kicked the bucket before then! [big grin]

Mine has the SS liner, pick-up, fittings and valves. When I done spraying I blow off the top and leave it off for a couple of days. Thanks for reminding me, I need to order a new top seal.

Already been emailing Jeff for two days back/forth.  Confusing as sites have outdated info.  Some show C.A. Tech pots as Teflon coated when they are baked on enamel, C.A. Tech says they have been for ten years!

Just got an email from Jeff saying that his site was incorrect(old info as well), his are baked on enamel as well.  I'm thinking all these pots come from the same supplier in Taiwan where Jeff gets his.

Jeff checked with his supplier and his PP are an acid cured/2 part enamel coating, Teflon coated is obsolete.
