Someone must have already done this, surely. I want to make a top to go onto my CT26 for putting things on, not least of which my JP Thien cyclone thingy (which works spectacularly well by the way - further info here), but whichever tool I am using at the time. Just storage really.

I bought (wrongly, should have checked the dimensions) one of the replacement sacrificial tops for the new systainer with the mdf lid thinking that might be the right size, it wasn't. So was just hoping there's one of these knocking about as a template, or a thread already for this topic.

Or am I just odd for suggesting it? Currently I have a piece of wood balancing on it, with the other items balancing on that. Not very sturdy.

Wow, a piece of routed ply that would make Festool themselves blush at the price that's available at to the UK. Approximately $60 USD, unless anyone can find it cheaper.

Back to the drawing board and make my own.

Whilst I appreciate your interest in my plight, unless they post to the UK for free, and cover import duty and taxes that's not going to be any cheaper.
