I purchased a Tenryu PSW-16052CB2TK compatible blade for a TS55 REQ.  Amazon page
The blade has an amazing 1.6mm kerf and comes with a thin riving knife attachment/thingy.
The results are amazing.

My only complaint is there are no directions for attaching the riving knife and an arbor washer to be found.  Anywhere. As in Google.
I love this blade.

The photos are of 3/4" pre-finished maple ply.  I got similar (great) results crosscutting maple.

I'll give you my house if someone (either mod or Festool) doesn't post something about safety and non factory mods!

Do you have a picture of the house?

You don't need to get the picture of the house because I have deleted the images showing the modification made to the riving knife that would render it inoperative.

Fine!
I am more of a caveman anyhow... [mad]

Stop spoiling all the fun Peter!  I have to say my experience with thin kerf blades has been much more "wiggle" in the cut.    I LOVE a big honking wide kerf!  It's very stable.  More mass =less deflection.

The stiffness goes up as the cube of thickness, and stiffness also helps to mitigate wander.

When I first bought my Dewalt portable table saw more than a decade ago I instantly got rid of the thin kerf blades and refuse to use one.  Of course I no longer travel with my table saw since I went GREEN and only use it a couple of times a year when it makes sense.

Maybe if all you're cutting is lightweight plywood and particleboard that Tenryu is fine.
I tried one on my TS75, and you couldn't pay me to use it again - worst $80 I ever spent.

[attachimg=2]I have only used the blade to cut the pieces for a couple of cabinets and cross cut some 4/4 maple.

I can see where it might be too delicate for job site work and perhaps it will have a short performance life down the road.  IMO it would not be a good fit with a TS75.  Too large and less finesse than a 55.

Right now I love the blade.  Besides an ultra clean cut the thin kerf has almost no resistance.  It glides through the material. With a guide rail I can’t see how the blade would have deflection unless it is dull.

I’m really surprised at the poor reviews.
At $45 I won’t be out too much.  Time will tell.
