Testing TS55 base for flatness

Whats the best way for anybody to check the base on their saw for flatness I just noticed that when I placed it on my bench and several other things I believed to be flat the saw rocked slightly from corner to corner.

I noticed someone else posted about flatness of bases but I was wondering what surface would be perfectly flat and is this a common problem.

I would try a cast iron table saw, jointer or MFT.  I would think that any of these would be sufficiently flat

I had another look dont think it was the base, one of the plastic guide strips on the base was slightly proud so I took it out sanded it down a bit then put it back in, I think its ok now.
