ooooh, wonder if we can get those here. Odd that the magazine looks to be in German, but they have "Family Business" in English... does that not translate?! haha! Maybe it's like in Japan: things are cooler if they have English on them and sometimes, a whole lot funnier

hello Paul and Six-Point,
the FESTOOL Magazin is in German except for the seasoning with "cool" commercial lingo. In my grandmothers day French were all the "cool" words, many of which survived well past the post war II. For the past 50 years American English has taken over.

THe business described in the FESTOOL Magazin, Schwarzmann Fenster is interesting.
YouTube of some of their architectural window work in modern architecture in the Alps:

enjoy the European visit to that wonderful western Alpine tip of Austria and Germany southeast of Lake Constance  [smile]

I got a copy in English (I am in the UK), including the calendar. I’ve enjoyed reading it - maybe they will put a PDF on their website?

Here's a PDF of the magazine, in english, directly from Festool.

And if you go here, you'll find all of them:

Sorry for not having posted the links earlier, I forgot to look for the PDF editions. Thanks to [member=77926]timwors[/member] for the reminder! :)

EDIT: Of course also available via the .com site:https://www.festool.com/knowledge/downloads#Magazines

Kind regards,
Oliver

When I order from Rubart.de they often throw in some Festool printed stuff. Pretty nice. I can read German decently. The trend of using English words everywhere isn't unique to German. Happens here too. Public broadcasting even advertised for a Dutch national election debate... in English!  [dead horse]

Hey Paul,
thanks to Six-Point we now have link to regularly access the English version.
Another benefit of the FOG.

Enjoy !

Hans
