I ordered a 49.5” rule. First one the box wasn’t so good and it had a bad corner that would damage any wood I put it on. I sent a photo to them just thinking they might update packing practices. Instead they sent another one. That one UPS broke the box and so it bent the rule. It’ll never lay flat. UPS probably had to pay for that one but Woodpeckers sent a third one. That one arrived undamaged, thankfully.

They communicate well and make sure to make your order right. UPS on the other hand... good most the time, but not afraid to throw a busted ass box on your porch.

"...but not afraid to throw a busted ass box on your porch."

Or the wrong porch. :-) It's happened three times so far this year to me.
Once my package was delivered to the wrong address and twice I received
a package addressed to someone else.

Glad WP made it right. I have had the same experience with them. They go
the extra mile to be sure an order is right and good communication.

They are far from cheap and delivery times can be generously called "flexible" but I've had nothing but great experiences from Woodpeckers support when I've had shipping damage or just questions on their products.  I do enjoy supporting companies that standby their products!

Glad you have had a good experience.  I have two items backordered:

09/17/20    150mm Hook Rule with Rack-It
01/12/21    in-DEXABLE DOUBLE SQUARE - STANDARD - 6 INCH BLADE

No idea when they will ship.  Of course, they took my money right away.

I have had a couple of issues with Woodpeckers tools, and I must say their customer services is nothing short of excellent.  Waiting for their OTT is long, but their products and customer service is exemplary.

Here's another big thumbs up for Woodpeckers' customer service.  [thumbs up]

Like I wrote on this forum before there have been quite some issues with the products I ordered from them. Some due to bad handling by the shipping companies. Some due to errors on their part. But every time I have told them they have made good on it. No questions asked. Even though I myself was beginning to feel uncomfortable about the number of times I had to contact them they always came through without any hesitation. As a matter of fact someone from Woodpeckers here on the forum told me I should never hesitate to let them know if something wasn't as I thought it should be. I can't tell you how much I do appreciate such service!

Yeah, their prices are steep. But you know you get quality items and if there's some unexpected issue it will get resolved. They stand 100% behind what they do. That makes it worth it to me.

I just tried to leave a comment on the Woodpecker OTT page and it would not accept my email. Anybody else have this problem?

I was asking about selling the gauge block systainer foam insert by itself.

Yesterday I did the same for a repeat of the bevel squares (OTT).  I could really use them now. I accidentally dropped my Ulmia 605 from the fourth floor onto concrete. I almost had tears in my eyes when I picked it up again. It is completely destroyed. I'll be missing that tool. After hearing/reading the positive reviews of the WP offering I had hoped I could try those out. Anyway, the web form worked just fine for me yesterday.

For those who really love Woodpecker, their Woodpecker signs are on sale. You can own a sign that says Woodpecker made by Woodpecker. Does Festool offer anything comparable?

There's a guy on Facebook Marketplace selling the header lights from a Festool display case (presumably from a closed store)... does that count? :)
