I just wanted to send out a huge Thank You, I did not get a chance to say Thanks. You are a great guy to talk with on the phone, and helped advise me on all my purchases, with NO pressure. We have made the decision to purchase one tool per month with accesories untill we complete our mobil shop with tools we need. You will get all my future business.

I'll second that "thanks". Recently bought the Kapex, crown extensions, OF1010 and ETS150 from Bob. . Just the tip of the Festool iceburg
 
He really is the best to deal with. So knowledgeable. He will allways answer the phone. I have yet to stump him. He will never steer you wrong. Even my wife loves him [eek]Be well friends. Timothy
 
I just noticed this thread as I was about to start my own "Bob is the best" thread

Bob has yet to take longer the 15 minutes to answer an email, I am not sure if he actually sleeps. 

I am sure the other dealers are great to work with also, but Bob is the only one I will do business with now.
 
I just got two empty sysainer IV's yeserday from Bob.  You should have seen the size of the box it came in.  Took me 5 min to unwrap them they were packed so well.  He must have spent a fortune shipping those things to me, makes me feel guilty.  I guess I'll have to order a OF1400 from him sooner than I was thinking to remove that guilt! ;)

Regarding the packaging, it's always better, IMHO, to pay more and do it right, then to skimp and have damaged goods. Nothing is guarenteed in the shipping world, UPS can be brutal, but we try!

dont have such luck!  cannot get an email answered as to when my SMALL accessory order will be shipped.  ordered ten days ago.  i have always bought from Mc Feelys, but saw in the past, on this forum, how great Bob is (was) so ordered a couple of small things.  they came back "backordered" (no problem with me, dont need quickly), I have sent two emails with no reply.....so i guess the size of the order does matter....

I am looking through all my emails - even in my SPAM folder, and haven't seen your emails. If you have sent via my "contact us" part of my of my website, that link has experienced some difficulty recently and is under "repair", but my bob@marinofestool.com email is working fine.

Not true.  I have (several times) ordered as little as $5 worth of some parts, bolts and what-not from Bob, and he has always been impressively responsive and never "blinked" at those orders.

I believe your email may have fallen through the cracks.  I don't know if you use hotmail or gmail, but those are especially prone to auto-filtering.  I have often had to contact people (for craigslist, for example) using my work email address because normal emails go unanswered.

Same here, I have placed several small order with Bob and he is great.
 
was contacted by Bob.  order now entered will ship soon.  Bob did follow up cannot ask for more than that.

Yeah, Bob's a great guy but if we can only get him to stop replying inside quotes so we'd know what he's posting. [poke] [big grin]
 
ye i hate when people do that. i dont bother reading them as it is a PITA unless the new bits are in a different colour etc
 
Yup, never occurred to me that Bob might treat small orders differently.  He has always been on top of even the small stuff.

Thanks so much for the great service that my wife and I continually enjoy when we order from you AND for responding quickly when we have questions.  Recently you advised me on buying my second MFT, a recon from Festool I'm delighted (and pretty lucky to now have two).  I know you were ridiculously busy but you replied to my questions and got the order off in time for me to get what I wanted. When my wife has surprised me with Fesgifts - you've always come through helping her figure out what I need. I know you'll keep up your wonderful approach to helping us out and we are two very loyal and satisfied customers.
